Grief group

After two of my neighbours died within a month of each other, I felt called to take therapy outside of the therapy room. I now run a free grief group in my community. It is a place where we come together to share our feelings and to be held by the group. And grief isn't just about losing a loved one. It can be about facing illness, an aging body, losing a job, the end of a relationship, a painful childhood, wars and the environment, to name a few. With the NHS so stretched and so many unable to access therapy, I feel that community support is the way forward. No one should have to feel lonely in their grief.

If you would like to speak to me about this, perhaps you feel called to start your own group, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
